Percepciones sobre el turismo accesible. Caso: Isla Cozumel, México
Resumo
El objetivo de la investigación fue revelar la percepción social de Cozumel con respecto a la accesibilidad de los servicios turísticos para personas con discapacidad. El método fue cuantitativo y descriptivo aplicado en el ámbito turístico; se utilizó una encuesta con respuestas tipo Likert y la prueba U de Mann-Whitney. A través de los resultados se determinó que falta adaptar y ampliar la infraestructura, los servidores turísticos no están capacitados en este segmento y se requiere concientización social. Esto permite brindar herramientas útiles para evaluar las políticas públicas de accesibilidad universal.
